About this video

Glenn Caruso
Head Coach
University of St. Thomas

Glenn Caruso was named the 29th head coach in the 104-year history of University of St. Thomas football on Jan. 24, 2008. He took over a team that finished 2-8 the previous year and led the Tommies to a 7-3 record in his inaugural season. He followed that up with an 11-2 record in 2009, including a 2-1 playoff record and a berth in the NCAA playoff quarterfinals; a 12-1 performance in the 2010 campaign; and a 13-1 record in 2011. That four-year run completed the biggest turnaround in Division III football bringing the Tommies from a 206 national ranking to No. 3 in three year’s time.

The opposite of the Play Action Pass, Pass Action Run uses the pass to set up the run. You probably have draw plays in your offensive system, but Pass Action Run is much more advanced in using multiple trigger points as stimuli to affect where linebackers, d-ends and other alley defenders move. With Pass Action Run you can literally run the ball at a defenses’ best defenders while giving your linemen great blocking angles. It is quick to install in any offense.

In this video you will learn:
· How to add Pass Action Run to your draw plays.
· The quarterback’s role in Pass Action Run.
· How to incorporate Pass Action Run in your offense.
